By 2030, 90% of our projects will be sustainable

As a player in the industrial sector, we have a role to play in contributing to global decarbonization efforts and achieving Net Zero by 2050.

Since our creation, we have been working to address this challenge through various actions such as waste management, responsible purchasing, and sustainable mobility.

In 2025, we decided to go even further by making a bold commitment: by 2030, 90% of the projects we are involved in will have a positive impact on the environment.

A sustainable world

Taking action for the environment means taking action every day to reduce our individual and collective impact. We have calculated and shared our carbon footprint on the ADEME website and developed a transition plan focused on three main areas.

Promotion of sustainable mobility

We are aware that home-to-work journeys represent a significant proportion of our carbon footprint, so we are committed to adopting sustainable mobility practices.

100% refunding of public transportation costs for all employees, challenges to encourage soft mobility, and subsidies for electric bicycles.

Adoption of a sustainable consumption

As part of our commitment to sustainable development, we have adopted a responsible approach to resource consumption and waste management based on recycling and the circular economy.

Digitization of processes, paperless approach, reusable tableware, coffee beans, choice of responsible service providers, waste collection for eco-organisations or associations, and organization of zero-waste events.

Environmental protection

Two major initiatives reinforce our commitment to the planet.

Through our partnership with Green Sanctuaries, we support the Rio Napo project in Ecuador to protect endangered forests and preserve biodiversity. We are also actively participating in Team for the Planet to support climate innovations and finance overall solutions to combat climate change.

Diversity and inclusion

Our commitment: providing an inclusive and fair working environment for all our employees. Extia Engineering aims to adopt a socially responsible attitude by integrating and promoting human rights, international working standards and anti corruption measures.

Support professional equality

Despite the growing presence of women in the engineering sector, it is still predominantly male-dominated. However, Extia Engineering is firmly committed to the promotion of equality in the workplace. In 2025, Extia Engineering achieved a professional gender-equality index of 88 out of 100.

95% of employees believe that they are treated fairly, regardless of their gender (based on the Great Place To Work® 2024 survey).

First who, quite simply

Because “who” is at the heart of our strategy, the inclusion of people with disabilities is also one of our top priorities. That is why we have established a disability policy, signed an agreement with Agefiph, and implemented specific support measures.

The Extians are committed

Extia Engineering firmly believes that every individual can contribute to making the world a fairer, more sustainable and equal place. Companies have access to human, material and financial resources that can be put to good use for charitable causes. Through our own actions, we also want to raise awareness and support our employees in their solidarity initiatives.

The Initiatives Project

As a responsible company, we are committed to supporting Extians in their ideas, uniting them around a common vision, and involving them in the implementation of our CSR strategy. To achieve this, three projects have been launched: one focusing on the environment, one on social issues, and one on society. Each of these is led by a group of employees who are committed to building a sustainable world.

Offering our skills to our partners

Thanks to our skills sponsorship initiatives, we are able to offer our expertise and technical know-how to our partner associations. Our involvement already extends to some 50 associations, and our sponsorship initiatives are growing constantly! Support the causes we care about

Through its solidarity initiatives 1 CV = 1 DONATION and 1 PROJECT = 1 DONATION, Extia Engineering provides financial support to associations selected by the Extians themselves. For each CV received or project launched, we donate €1 and €10 respectively to the association chosen by the candidate or the client from among our three partner associations.

And what about tomorrow?

Extia Engineering believes that everyone has a role to play in making the world a better place.
