Building on Extia's 17 years of existence, Extia Engineering's story began in 2022 with a mission: to serve Extia's long-standing clients thanks to a dedicated organisation tailored to their needs. Driven by the belief that well-being is the key to performance, we strive to surround ourselves with stakeholders who share the same values and with whom we can build the engineering of tomorrow.

First who, then what!

"First who, then what" is the essence of Extia Engineering. Everything we do starts with the "who", the individual, his aspirations and skills, and from there we work together to build a meaningful project with added value for both the new Extian and our company. We are convinced that choosing the best partners and fostering open communication in the workplace is better than having a strategy and then recruiting people who won't follow it.

Arnaud Frey

Arnaud is not only competitive, but also a resourceful engineer. He founded Extia in 2007 at the age of 29, determined to break away from a "traditional" business model that was limiting and unsatisfying. 16 years later, Extia and Extia Engineering have grown to 2,500 employees.

Eric

In 2023, Eric takes over the management of the Extia Engineering Design Office, specialising in Telecoms, and leads its reorganisation by establishing a Delivery department and a Business & Development department. Diversifies its services by creating three new offerings to better meet client needs.

Sofiane

After 4 years as a business manager in Paris and always looking for new challenges, Sofiane took on a new one: opening Extia Engineering offices in Nantes. His ambition: to spread the motto "first who, then what" in the west of France.

Arnaud

After 2 years as an engineerin consultant in the networks and systems sector, Arnaud decided to create the Sponsorship department. Thanks to his initiative, Extians can support causes that are important to them: 52 charitable projects have been launched and many more are in the pipeline!

2007

Arnaud Frey and his two partners created a new kind of company that puts people first.

2010

Starting a cycle of regional expansion, Extians opened the first Extia agency outside Paris: in Aix-en-Provence.

2011

Opening our agency in Lyon marked our arrival in the Rhone-Aples region.

2013

It’s time for Extians to conquer Europe: they open the Belgium agency.

2015

Extians are launching intrapreneurship initiatives and opening agencies in Grenoble and Switzerland, as well as creating the Telecom, GIS, and Roads Engineering Department.

2022

Extia Engineering is officially launched! Our mission is to support our partners throughout the lifecycle of their projects, always combining well-being with performance.
