Extia Engineering

Extia Engineering was founded in 2022 following a spin-off from Extia, with the aim of supporting its partners in the industrial sector through a dedicated structure tailored to their needs. Backed by 18 years of experience and convinced that well-being at work generates performance, Extia Engineering aims to collaborate with partners who share its values, to co-create the engineering of tomorrow — in line with its CSR commitments.

First who, then what!

"First who, then what" is the essence of Extia Engineering. Everything we do starts with the "who", the individual, his aspirations and skills, and from there we work together to build a meaningful project with added value for both the new Extian and our company. We are convinced that choosing the best partners and fostering open communication in the workplace is better than having a strategy and then recruiting people who won't follow it.

Arnaud Frey

Founding President of Extia & Extia Engineering, Arnaud is as much a competitor as he is an (ingenious 😊) engineer. At the age of 29, he wanted to escape from a “classic” business model that no longer satisfied him and curbed his initiatives. 18 years later, the Group has 3,000 "Who" and even more "What".

Eric

In 2023, Eric takes over the management of the Extia Engineering Design Office, specialising in Telecoms, and leads its reorganisation by establishing a Delivery department and a Business & Development department. Diversifies its services by creating three new offerings to better meet client needs.

Sofiane

After 4 years as a Business Manager in Paris and always looking for new challenges, Sofiane took on a new one: opening Extia Engineering offices in Nantes. His ambition: to spread the motto "First who, Then what" in the west of France.

Arnaud

After 2 years as an Engineering Consultant in the networks and systems sector, Arnaud decided to create the Sponsorship department. Thanks to his initiative, Extians can support causes that are important to them: 52 solidary projects have been launched and many more are in the pipeline!

2007

Arnaud Frey and his two partners created a new kind of company that puts people first.

2010

Starting a cycle of regional expansion, Extians opened the first regional agency, in Aix-en-Provence.

2011

The Rhône-Alpes adventure is launched with the opening of Lyon's agency.

2013

The Extians set out to conquer Europe, with the creation of our agency Extia Belgium.

2015

Inspired, Extians go for other intrapreneurial adventures, opening our Grenoble and Switzerland agencies.

2015

The Design & Engineering Department is created. Specialising in Telecoms, it meets the needs of our partners in this strategic sector.

2022

Extia Engineering is officially launched! Our mission is to support our partners throughout the lifecycle of their projects, always combining well-being with performance.

2022

Extians turn their efforts to the West of France and conquer the city of Jules Verne: Nantes!

Extia Engineering established itself in Lille and consolidated its presence in the North of France.

Our Design & Engineering Department redefines its offering: Structural Engineering offer, Electrical Engineering offer & Civil Engineering and Telecommunications Networks offer.
